polar express

Wednesday, Mason's class went on a field trip to ride the polar express.

First we waited in a tent/building for all the kids to arrive.

They opened some big doors that lead to the train and it was snowing.  It sure made it more exciting.

As we were entering the train the music from the Polar Express was playing and it gave me chills.

Enjoying the scenery...and about falling asleep.  The train ride was about 45 minutes.  We sang songs and listened to stories.  Hoping  a special guest would arrive.

After the train we went to Nash Farms and had lunch.  The kids ran around, climbed on old farm equipment and rolled around in leaves.  The weather was amazing, 75 degrees, a little too warm for flannel PJs though.
