progreso port

Our first port was Progreso, Mexico.  It was a very warm morning.  Bailee is resting while we wait for our tour to some Mayan ruins begins.

 

 

After a quick tour of a few ruins Bailee and I went for a swim with minnows. The pool was very refreshing. 

Bailee was the only one doing back flips off the rocks.  LOL

 

 

 After our tour we went to the beach to find something to eat.  The food was delicious!  But we got tired of all the people trying to sell things.  They were selling cookies and treats to movies that weren't even out on DVD yet to checking your blood pressure.  Odd...

 I thought this picture above looked fake...but cool.

 Some of the best chicken fajita tacos I've ever had.  Soo good!!

 

bailee's senior trip...a cruise

We were so excited for this cruise!!  It's our first.  WE really had no idea what to expect.  The ship is huge! 

 

 Our room is small.  LOL

The ship is like a maze.  I finally figured out which floor was the pool, the dinning room, and to get off at our ports. The rest of the time I relied on Bailee and Brian getting me where I needed to go.  ;-)

 The first day at sea, people were everywhere.  It was crazy at the pool! And super fun!!

 I think Brian was about to lick my face when Bailee took our picture.  He sure keeps life fun!

 

 

 

 Most nights we would watch a movie out by the pool.  These two have lost their minds.  LOL

This is Harley's first time enjoying the pool.  The pool water had finally warmed up enough that she didn't freeze. 

 I took the boys to nhr20 while the girls were at EFY.  Can you find them?  They're not next to each other if that helps.  :)

 This is the largest, coolest, cleanest convenience store we have ever been to.  It's now my favorite. Buckees near San Antonio.

 On our drive to Uvalde we drove past fields of sunflowers.  On the way home I tried to get a picture but I got their backs instead.  I should have asked Brian to stop on the way down to get a picture of their fronts.  It was impressive.

The day before I left for girls camp I bought a flat and a half of raspberries.  Needless to say I was busy making freezer jam that night.  McKinzie made her first batch that night too.  When we were living in Colorado I would snag a bottle of my moms whenever we visited to take home and enjoy.  It's been too long since I've had homemade raspberry freezer jam.  YUM!!

4th celebration

 This was our first 4th without any kids.  It was strange.  The boys and Karlee were in Idaho with Grandparents.  Bailee worked, and McKinzie and Geoff spent the day with friends.

 We decided to go to a Cats baseball game.  It was fun! Our seats were about 10 rows from home plate.  They cost $16 a ticket.  We were in the shade the entire game.  All good!!

 After the game we went out on the field to watch fireworks.  The entire time I kept thinking how much our boys would love this.  Next year!

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera.  I only had my phone.  :(  It was better than nothing...I suppose.
